Fortnite first look on Android

As a gamer or not, there’s a great possibility you might have heard of Fortnite. Fortnite has made it way through several platforms like game consoles, Nintendo Switch, PC, Macs, not leaving alone the Apple’s iPhone. Lucky for Android users, the game is now at their doorstep. Unfortunately, the Fortnite won’t be supported on all device just like PUBG, you need to have a supported Samsung device and the beta seems to have some performance issues.

Fortnite has been on PC for a long time. The mobile version is not so different from the PC, Mac, Nintendo and even consoles edition. It has the same weapons, the same map, and an identical update schedule.

Devices Compatible with Fortnite on Android

It was confirmed during the event of the new Samsung Note family -Samsung Galaxy Note 9- and post on Epic’s website that the beta is running on the following Samsung Galaxy devices: S7 / S7 Edge , S8 / S8+, S9 / S9+, Note 8, including the new Note 9 with Tab S3, and Tab S4. But it’s possible that more devices will be compatible when the official version of Fortnite comes out.

How to install the Fornite on Android

Unfortunately, Fornite is not coming to the Google Play Store like other games & apps While iOS users download Fortnite from Apple’s App Store. Any gamer interested in installing Fornite Android will have to find a dedicated install file on the Fortnite website. Gamers have to open the site through a browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and a lot more) Fortnite.com/Android, where they will find Fornite APK and OBB. The APK file takes about 2mb of gamer storage, though the game itself comes in at more sizeable 2GB.

Fortnite on Android will allow pairing with iOS, PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of the shooter, which gives the opportunity to the gamer to squad up with friends on other platforms.

 

Release date on Android

The official version of the game has not yet been announced, as the exact time of writing the article but the beta is rolling out which means the official release date is close.
Rumor has it that the official game will hit stores on August 24, but Fortnite on Android will be a Samsung Galaxy exclusive available exclusively for 30 days, before unlocking for other Android phones on September 23.
